Individual Awards are held after each session in assigned rooms on 2nd floor.
Awards are grouped by the age of the gymnast.
COMPETITIVE AGE AND AGE DIVISIONS
Dates for determining competitive ages, which are based upon the Illinois and
Region 5 championship meet dates, are as follows:
Level 4 04/22/2012
Level 5 04/01/2012
Level 6 03/18/2012
Level 7 03/18/2012
Level 8 04/29/2012
Level 9 04/15/2012
Level 10 04/15/2012

Using the age determination dates above, each level will be divided into three (3) age
divisions. Based upon the ages of the gymnasts entered in the meet, the age divisions
will be set so that the numbers of gymnasts in each age division within each level are
approximately equal. However, the mix of ages can vary considerably from one
session to another session of the same level. This means that the age divisions within
any one session of a given level may not be as equally balanced as the age divisions
are across all sessions in that level.
Ties are decided by the gymnast with the highest All-Around score taken the higher rank.
If there is a tie at both the event and the All-Around then the gymnast with the highest individual event score will take the higher rank.
Team Awards will be given after the last session for a level for the day.
CASH PRIZES TOTALING $5000.00!
Each day, cash prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams per level, for levels 8-10 as follows:
Each day a minimum of-
$1000 will be awarded to Level 10's
$500 will be awarded to Level 9's
$250 will be awarded to Level 8's
